Join us at 11:30am for a screening the documentary film ‘Retracing Footsteps Hanna Dustin and the Abenaki’ followed by a film Q&A session

Retracing Footsteps revisits the folklore of Hannah Dustin and her violent escape from Abenaki captivity in 1697. The film interrogates how this narrative has been upheld as a symbol of heroism while remaining entangled in the larger story of cultural erasure and manifest destiny.
