Join us in supporting our beloved Amy Hoag's brother Russ. Meat Raffle 230pm followed by the Queen of Hearts.
A personal message from Amy:
I am writing to share Russ’s story and ask for your support during one of the hardest times in his life.
Russ’s health has taken a serious turn. His kidneys are functioning at only 8%, and he is living with both kidney failure and diabetes. Recently, he was at Amery Hospital in the ER and then transferred to Regions Hospital for specialized care. After several difficult days in the hospital, Russ was finally able to return home.
Now, his daily life looks very different. He must undergo dialysis three times each week, each session lasting several hours, just so his body can keep functioning. Because of the toll dialysis takes, Russ is only able to work part-time now, which has made covering medical bills and everyday expenses even more challenging for him and his family.
Despite everything, Russ continues to show strength and resilience. But the truth is—he cannot do this alone. Medical bills, travel costs for treatments, and the day-to-day expenses of care have become overwhelming. That’s why we are holding this fundraiser: to ease the financial burden so that Russ can focus on what matters most—his health, his healing, and spending time with the people he loves.
Any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, attending the fundraiser, or simply keeping Russ in your thoughts and prayers, means more than words can express.
On behalf of Russ and his family, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and encouragement during this time. Your support truly makes a difference. -Amy Hoag
