Introduction to Blacksmithing Holiday Ornament

Blacksmithing classes at Old Economy Village are ideal for adults interested in learning the history of metalworking in a historically accurate setting. The classes take place in a reconstructed 19th century smithy and traditional techniques are emphasized. The introduction classes cover all the necessary techniques to forge metal, create bends and twist metal, producing an ice cycle holiday ornament.

Blacksmithing Class Prices:
-$75 for non-member
-$65 for members

Must be 18 years and older to participate.
