Stourbridge: Next Steps: Bounce Your Calligraphy

This workshop is for anyone with a basic knowledge of modern calligraphy who wants to develop more dynamic layouts. You’ll learn how to add bounce, vary size and spacing, and create movement and flow in your lettering.

We’ll cover stacking words, letting letters rise and dip, and weaving phrases together for a more natural, connected look. You’ll discover how to control bounce so it feels intentional and balanced, whether you’re working on short greetings or longer quotes.

Through guided exercises and demonstrations, you’ll build confidence in rhythm, spacing and composition, finishing the session by creating your own completed piece.

All materials are provided, along with clear instruction and individual guidance.
