FREE MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAM
FREE for family members / loved ones of individuals with:
Major Depression
Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depression)
Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
Borderline Personality Disorder
Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Co-occurring Mental Illness and Addictive Disorders
Family-to-Family is a nationally recognized, evidence-based program for family members and loved ones of those living with mental illness. It offers 8 weekly classes structured to help caregivers understand and support individuals with serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. The course is taught by a team of trained NAMI family member volunteers who know what it’s like to have a loved one struggling with one of these brain disorders. It will meet on Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:30 p.m. from Sept. 4 to Oct. 23.
This class is free and all materials and refreshments are provided, but it is limited to 20 adults. Register by calling Margie at (806) 678-7385.
