Build Your Own Clay Mug – 2-Week Workshop Experience
Create a mug that’s truly one of a kind—from start to finish! In this two-week clay workshop, you’ll hand-build your very own functional mug using slab techniques and personalized details.
Week One (Feb 7 @ 1p):
You’ll roll out clay slabs, cut your shapes, and assemble your mug form. No wheel required—this method is beginner-friendly and perfect for creative customization.
Week Two (Feb 14 @ 1p):
Return to carve, texture, and personalize your mug with designs, patterns, or meaningful words. After this session, your mug will be kiln-fired.
Once firing is complete, you’re welcome to return any time during open studio hours to glaze your mug at your own pace. We’ll handle the final firing so your piece is food-safe and ready to use.

No prior clay experience needed—just come ready to get a little messy and make something meaningful (and useful!). ☕🎨 You can come in any weekend Fri & Sat 1p-9p
**Clay can be unpredictable. Sometimes pieces explode in the kiln randomly. If your clay piece doesn't come out correctly, you will be given the option to come in and remake your piece or will have a $50 credit for any future workshop.
We take walk in's at the door if we have space available. Please only register as a member if you are a CURRENT member.
No refunds available for this workshop. If you are unable to make it, please contact the studio BEFORE your workshop to schedule a time to come in and make your project another time during open studio.
