On Friday 19th September we are excited to welcome back the boogie-meisters supreme .... Vincent Flatts Final Drive to JJJ, with added awesomeness supplied by The Fabulous Murray Brothers in support!!
We hardly feel we need to describe the Flatts as you all know them by now, right? However, for the uninitiated we can attest to the fact that the boys always put on a great show packed full of driving boogie numbers featuring excellent guitar work from Gary Harper underpinned by the driving rhythm section of Rich Shelton (Drums) and Russ Cook (Bass) ... oh, and of course Birmingham music leg-end Sir Steve 'Bertie' Burton on vocals!
Support is provided by the excellent Fabulous Murray Brothers who will be delivering their unique brand of electrifying original British blues with guitar fireworks and harmonica acrobatics, together with soulful harmony vocals, virtuoso improvisations on ukulele and banjo, plenty of good-time humour and the funkiest and tightest rhythm section around. The Fabulous Murray Brothers write and perform blues-based funk-rock numbers that are innovative and very high-energy!
Singer-songwriter Alice Coley - who recently visited JJJ with her band Fair Weather Riders - will also be adding support, drawing influences from country, blues, rock, and Americana.
So come along for what promises to be a great night featuring two great bands.
