The Curated Swap - Clothing Swap Sunday 22nd June

The next Curated Swap will be held on Sunday 22nd June from 11.30-1.30pm at the beautiful Dose in Altrincham.

Drop off is from 11.30am and the swap will start at 12pm. Swapping will only start at 12pm to allow everyone time to drop off.

Why come?

Clothes swaps are an amazing opportunity to refresh your wardrobe, swap out the pieces hanging longingly in your closet that don't get as much air time, swap in some preloved garms that are in fantastic condition and looking to find a new home. It's a small change we can make to avoid buying new where possible and keeping clothes out of landfill.

Also, Dose serve amazing coffee and you will able to purchase a cup of jo while you swap.

A few requests.....

To ensure the event is a great experience for everyone the following guidelines are in place-

- Please bring along Preloved items that are in excellent condition, of a high quality and ready to find a new home.

-No Christmas partywear.

-Clothing from high street brands and independent labels

-Examples of but by no means the only brands allowed - &Other Stories, Whistles, All Saints, Ganni, John Lewis, M&S, Zara, COS, Arket, Reformation, Boden, Nobody's Child, Mint Velvet, Reiss, Aligne, Levis. If you are not sure please message me. This is an inclusive swap and everyone is welcome!

-Bring a minimum of 1 item (maximum 5 items). Your items will be checked over on arrival and you will receive a token for every item you bring. Items must be clean and in very good condition – no stains tears rips and please ensure zips and other fastenings are all in good working order.

-You will receive a token based on the brands you have brought to swap. High street brands will receive a blue token (examples Zara, M&S, Topshop &OtherStories) higher end brands will receive a white token (examples Ganni, Ralph Lauren, COS, Reiss, Levis). This is to ensure it is as fair as possible and people are getting a like for like swap.

-Adult sized clothing only

-Please no hoarding whilst swapping! Please carry a maximum of 5 items at a time.

Items to Avoid:

- There are so many fantastic outlets for second hand fast fashion brands, but please leave clothing from these brands at home (Pretty Little Thing, Boohoo, H&M, Shein, Primark, F&F and supermarket brands). We're looking for high quality clothing gear! Please get in touch if you're unsure which brands are fast fashion.

-No underwear, nightwear, handbags, shoes, socks or real fur.
