UPMC Altoona Walk-In Screening Mammograms

On Thursday, Oct. 2, UPMC Altoona will hold a Walk-in Mammogram clinic at Station Medical Center, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

On this date, women who are eligible through their insurance for a screening mammogram, and who do not already have an upcoming scheduled mammogram, can receive one without an appointment. Walk-in any time between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at UPMC Altoona Imaging Services at Station Medical Center (located next to the breast health center) to receive your mammogram. A doctor's order is not needed, but we do ask that you designate a doctor at the time of screening to receive and interpret your results. If you don't have a doctor, we can help you find one. If you have health insurance, it will be billed for this screening. Women without health insurance are welcome and encouraged to come for a screening - assistance may be provided to cover the cost.

No appointment is necessary.
