This classic novel is a coming-of-age story set in the American South during the 1930s, follows Scout Finch as she learns about justice, prejudice, and compassion through her father Atticus's defense of a black man, Tom Robinson, wrongly accused of rape. The novel explores themes of racial inequality, loss of innocence, and the coexistence of good and evil within a community.
