AARP Safe Driver Class

Sharpen your driving skills and learn proven techniques to stay safe on the road with the AARP Smart Driver Class. Completing the course may make you eligible for a multi-year discount on your auto insurance (restrictions apply).

- How medications may affect your driving
- Ways to reduce distractions behind the wheel
- Safe following distances and defensive driving strategies
- Proper use of seat belts, air bags, anti-lock brakes, and new vehicle technology
- Techniques for navigating left turns, right of way, and roundabouts
- How age-related changes can affect driving — and how to adjust safely
