Join us in Alpine on Saturday, February 28, 2026, for the Unincorporated San Diego Residential Cleanup Event at Joan MacQueen Middle School (2001 Tavern Road, Alpine, CA 91901) from 8am – 12pm or until capacity is reached. The event will also have FREE paper shredding, FREE mulch, and will accept reusable items for donation. This event is open to Unincorporated San Diego County residents only.
The following items will be accepted:
- Bulky items (furniture, broken appliances, etc.)
- Recyclable materials (cardboard, aluminum, hard plastic, glass)
- Green waste
- Mattresses and box springs
- Scrap metal
The following items will NOT be accepted:
- Household Hazardous Waste (batteries, paint, chemicals, etc.)
- Construction Materials
- Tires
- Business Waste
