Get ready, Alpharetta! 🎶 On Friday, August 8th, 2025, the Rotary Club of Alpharetta’s On The Green Concert Series brings you a night of pure music magic.

🍹 Kick things off at 6 PM with the smooth sounds of Dead Cetera / Mike Francis.
🎸 At 7 PM, feel the energy with Grunge House / Sandra Cochrane.
⛵ Then at 8 PM, it’s time to set sail with Dock Rock Radio — delivering the ultimate Yacht Rock experience, blending soft rock, R&B, and smooth soul for a night that’ll have you swaying, singing, and dancing under the stars.

"Yacht rock" is a retronym for a broad music style commonly associated with soft rock, one of the most successful genres from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Drawing on sources such as smooth soul, smooth jazz, R&B, and disco, common traits include high-quality production, clean vocals, and a focus on light, catchy melodies.
