The Big Bristol Braai, Rugby and Jive

Join us for a lekker Summer braai and then in enjoying the rugby and a jive. 

There’s a lovely big grass field next to the pub where we’ll all have a braai from 1pm and then we’ll head into the pub to support SA vs Argentina. 

Bring your own braai meat, tongs, deck chairs etc. (Don’t worry if you aren’t able to bring your own braai as we’ll bring a few with space for others too). For those who don’t want to braai, pub grub will also be available from Almondsbury Creative. 

If there’s a bit of rain, please bring your gazebos as rain won’t cancel this event. 

Please bring a bag of charcoal with you to keep the braais going 🙏. Thank you

For allowing us to use their grounds, please support the pub and buy your drinks from them. We kindly request that you don’t bring your own drinks onto the premises. Thanks

Africa and the Zoo will be there to sell handmade African bucket hats, men’s safari hats, beautiful bespoke beaded products, ladies clothing and jewellery.

Come meet some fellow Saffas and make some friends.

Just a note to say that it’s been requested that we don’t set up any disposable barbecues or similar due to grass fire risk. We’ll have our usual ones available..but please bring some charcoal. Thanks 👍
