Shred the Edge is back for it's 8th year!
This is an unsanctioned race located at Camp Edge in Alloway, NJ. Proceeds from this race benefit Ranch Hope/Camp Edge and the Salem County Reactors Composite Mountain Bike Team.
Each loop is a little over 4 miles in length with a mix of twists & turns, roots, and some hills. **E-bikes are NOT permitted.**
9:00AM Advanced race - 4 laps (approx 17 miles) - this category is the equivalent to CAT 1/2 for both adults and youth.
11:45 AM Novice race - 2 laps (approx 8 miles) - this category is the equivalent to CAT 3/4 for both adults and youth.
1:15 PM Kids race - 1 lap (approx 3ish miles) - this category is for youth under the age of 12. This is the perfect category for racers who are too young to join NICA or who are new to the sport of mountain biking. The course will be modified to avoid technical areas and course marshalls and sweepers will be present on the course to ensure everyone's safety.
Wake up lakeside by taking advantage of primitive camping for a small cash donation during race weekend. No electric or water hook-ups. Port-a-potties will be available.
