This group of Cathars is a continuation of an ancient group of Christians known as the “Good Christians” based in Italy, and France The core beliefs in prayer, work, fasting, nonviolence and having women play a major role made them very popular with peasants and the Artisans from the 12th to 14th century until the Catholic Church brutally hunted and killed them all. The guiding beliefs survived making a comeback to a diverse world. The International Cathar Church has dozens of communities and Centres around the world and one in Ohio.
