1000 Miles – A Table Reading by Vanessa Garcia

The Allentown Public Theatre presents its first public event since 2018 — a special table reading of 1000 Miles by Cuban American playwright Vanessa Garcia, directed by Shaun Leisher.

- 1000 Miles is a powerful story about migration, memory, and belonging — themes that resonate deeply within our Allentown community.

- The play reading will be in English. However, the event is bilingual — our welcome and community conversations will include both English and Spanish to make everyone feel at home.
