Prairie Adventure Camp is an immersive, nature-based experience designed to inspire young explorers and nurture their love for the outdoors. Campers will have a day of hands-on activities, up-close encounters with live raptors, a nature hike, and creative projects—all while learning about the diverse ecosystems of North Texas. Meet real-life raptors like hawks, owls, and falcons and learn about their adaptations, habitats, and roles in the ecosystem.
Explore nature trails and discover native plants, wildlife, and how different species thrive in prairie and woodland habitats.
Engage in a conservation project that promotes environmental stewardship and teaches the importance of protecting wildlife and their homes.
Get creative with an art project inspired by nature
Participate in group challenges and games that build teamwork, curiosity, and confidence.
Drop off: 9 am Pick up: 2 pm
Snacks are provided. Each child should bring a nut-free sack lunch and a water bottle.
Dress for the weather, including sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and closed toed shoes.
