Bring your beloved pet(s) to our Blessing of the Pets, a joyful and meaningful gathering where we give thanks to God for the unconditional love and companionship of His creatures. Whether they bark, purr, chirp, hop, or wiggle, our pets hold a special place in our families, and this service is a chance to celebrate the ways they enrich our lives.
The Blessing of the Pets is more than a tradition—it is a visible reminder of God’s love for all creation. As we gather, we bear witness to the bond we share with our animals, reflect on the beauty of God’s handiwork, and remember our call to be faithful stewards of His creation. Together, we will pause to honor the interdependence between humans and animals and celebrate the covenant God set in motion at the very beginning of time.
This year’s service will be held on Sunday, September 21, at 5:00pm in the FUMC Allen Courtyard. Families, children, and friends are welcome to attend, whether you bring a pet to be blessed or simply come to enjoy the fellowship and joy of the gathering.
All are welcome—come and join us for an evening filled with gratitude, community, and the wagging tails, gentle purrs, and happy hearts that remind us of God’s abundant blessings.
