� Reptiles of the Red Centre – Book Launch & Field Trip

We’re delighted to announce that we’re going ahead with plans to launch Reptiles of the Red Centre in Alice Springs this September! The launch will take place at 6pm on Saturday 6th September, with a relaxed field trip to follow in the days after.

At this stage, details are still being finalised. Some people are planning to drive from Sydney, others will fly in, and we’ll look at hiring suitable vehicles in Alice Springs to get around. It’s shaping up to be a great few days, and we’d love to see as many familiar faces there as possible.

� Itinerary Overview
Saturday 6 September
• 6pm: Book launch in Alice Springs
• Check-in: Elkira Hotel
Sunday 7 September
• Drive to Curtin Springs Station (~4 hrs from Alice, 80 km from Uluru)
• Overnight at Curtin Springs – keep an eye out for Molochs and Perenties!
Monday 8 September
• Early departure to watch the sunrise at Uluru
• Day exploring Uluru
• Return to Curtin Springs for overnight stay
Tuesday 9 September
• Drive back to Alice Springs
• Option 1: Fly out on the 12:50 pm flight
• Option 2: Spend a relaxed afternoon in Alice and stay another night
Wednesday 10 September
• Optional morning visit to Alice Springs Desert Park
• Depart Alice Springs / end of group trip
