CARDIO WALK

Do you want to make new friends or simply need a push to establish a routine to improve your physical condition? Join us for the Tuesday Cardio Walk that should take place every Tuesday weather permitting.

As running is not for everybody health-wise, we need to look for alternatives that would be healthy for us regardless of our age or physical condition. "Walking on an incline involves extra resistance than jogging and will engage your glutes, quads, hamstrings, calves and even your core to maintain good posture. The higher the incline, the more of a strength workout it's going to be." Adding the Santa Barbara stairs to the incline, it is a perfect location to work on our fitness while spending time in a lovely company and seeing all the amazing views Santa Barbara has to offer.

The point of meeting is in Plaza de Carmen at 6:00PM

(see the map below). The walk to the top and back down should take around 1,5hours maximum depending on how many times we stop to rest or take pictures.

What to Bring:

Enough water to keep yourself hydrated 🚰

Good mood and enthusiasm to push through all the way to the top 🚶
