Lonely Magic: Exhibition / Concert / Album Release w/ Rebecca Sugar

Rebecca Sugar, the creator of Steven Universe and co-creator of Lars of the Stars, is set to showcase her personal work in a new exhibition and concert!

This exhibit will feature artwork from her latest album LONELY MAGIC. The exhibition will also serve as the US premiere of the album's music video, featuring Rebecca's latest animation.To kick off the release of her new album LONELY MAGIC, Rebecca will be performing live in concert for one night only on Friday, August 29!

• Location: 210 East Main St., Alhambra, CA 91801
• Gallery Admission: FREE starting Saturday, August 30 – No RSVP needed, all ages welcome
• Public online viewing: Starts August 30, 12:01 AM PT
• Patreon members receive early online access to purchase artwork on August 28
• There are no early ticket sales for Patreon members.

CONCERT & SIGNING (Ticketed Admission)

• E-Tickets will be on sale starting July 30 at 1:00 PM PT via EVENTBRITE
• Limited to only 120 guests
• General seats $55
• VIP seats $180 (first 2 rows, includes one LONELY MAGIC record)

• Rebecca will be performing along with Jeff Ball (strings) and Louie Zong (keyboard)
• Signing for concert guests will begin after the concert
• Limit 2 signing items per person
• $10 signing fee for outside items (*items not purchased from the event)
• All items, including outside item fee must be purchased prior to queuing in the signing line

ABOUT THE ALBUM "LONELY MAGIC"

“Lonely Magic” is a sweeping chamber pop opera about illusion and obsession. These seven new songs from Rebecca Sugar reveal her true, behind-the-scenes experience while making colorful animated television throughout the 2010s. Many of the songs Sugar wrote for “Adventure Time” and “Steven Universe” had secret double meanings about her own life. “Lonely Magic” completes the story, starting with the audacious dreams of a college student and ending with the reflections of a working artist.
