TOC Algonquin Highlands Canoe Camping Trip

We are excited to announce our fall canoe camping trip! Please read below to learn about trip details, requirements, and expectations!

• Open to CURRENT Trent students only
• Friday October 17-20
• 4 days // 3 nights
• Beginner friendly trip
• Transportation is provided (pickup/dropoff from Peterborough Terminal and Bata Library)
• Camping (non-personal) gear will be provided. This does NOT include sleeping bags and sleeping pads (please reach out if this is something that you will need).
• Participants MUST attend one of our pre-trip meetings
• Participants MUST fill out the trip details form that will be emailed to them after registration
• A complete packing list will be provided after registration closes.
• Participants MUST pass a survival swim test which will consist of swimming 50 metres and then treading water for 3 minutes.
• There will be portaging on this trip
  
  *Failure to pass swim test, attend a pre trip meeting, sign the waiver, fill out trip details form, or bring appropriate footwear will result in not being able to attend the trip.
