October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. The Wave of Light is an international celebration, to honor babies gone too soon, and takes place annually on October 15, Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Participants light candles at 7 PM in their time-zone & this creates a beautiful wave of light around the globe! (just imagine what our babies looking will see... ❤)
Even if you cannot attend this event in person, please feel free to light a candle at home and share the picture on the event page.

Mingle, Snacks, Activities
- kids craft table
- family photo area (optional: bring something that reminds you of your angel -- foot prints, hand prints, picture, teddy bear, etc.)

Wave of Light Candle Ceremony (MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE TO HAVE NAMES INCLUDED IN PROGRAM AND READ ALOUD)

Extinguish Candles & Mingle
If you have pictures taken at the family photo area, the photos will be made available to you for free online. I will post updates with regards to when they're ready and how to access.
If you take your own pictures at the event, feel free to post them in this event and/or tag #waveoflightalgona
