From Scraps to Seeds: A Papermaking Journey with Leisa Hearps
Join us for a hands-on, eco-conscious paper-making workshop where you'll transform waste art paper into beautiful, plantable creations. Learn traditional and modern techniques, craft your own paper-making tray from repurposed materials, and explore the art of embedding native seeds into paper for gifts, bookmarks, and more. No experience needed—just bring your creativity, gloves, and a towel to protect your car seats as you take home your damp masterpiece!
Suitable for ages 5+, with an attending adult required for ages under 10 years old to assist them.

Price: $15 kids, $10 adults (adults to accompany children)– Concession tickets available (for concession card holders and other eligible categories)– Parents/accompanying adults must buy adult tickets.

About the Presenter:Leisa Antonio-Hearps, the heart and soul behind Healing India Creative Arts, established in 2006 in Perth WA, is committed to sustainable artistry, contemporary creativity, and respectfully encompassing traditional Indian-inspired influences across her creative art practice. Leisa enjoys facilitating multidisciplinary creative art workshops in our local community and she has been awarded Local community art awards for her designs in Basketry, Glass art, and Jewellery. With a rich background in fostering community through her studies in Social sciences combined with professional development in dressmaking, and art, she always offers an inviting inclusive space for all to explore their artistic abilities while emphasizing the importance of environmental care.
