PRESS RELEASE: The Leopold Hotel in Bicton is firing up on Saturday, August 23 with Perth Legends, Blue On Black - a Perth-based modern blues rock band with a slick, dynamic, and eclectic sound, featuring WA guitar legend Graham Greene (Flash Harry, Ice Tiger, Graham Greene band, the world’s first Ormsby Guitars endorsee), Perth’s First Lady of Rock and celebrated front woman Donna G (Lady Zeppelin, Siren Divinyls Show - Rock For MS) on vocals, and the OG Lady Zeppelin rhythm section comprising Perth music legends Shane Brady on drums and Jim Awram on 6 string bass.
This world class group of respected players bring you a repertoire that combines well-known blues classics from artists such as Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, Renee Geyer, Joe Walsh, Led Zeppelin, Gary Moore and Jeff Beck with catchy original songs that touch on country, funk and blues-rock while staying true to a unique band sound that has everyone moving, grooving, and feeling good!
