Death is more than an ending—it is a sacred passage. In this interactive lecture, we’ll explore the profound role of the death doula: a compassionate guide who offers emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals and families during one of life’s most vulnerable moments.
Discover the roots of the death positive movement, the many ways death doulas bring comfort and dignity to the dying process, and how you can step into this meaningful work through our free training program offered exclusively to hospice volunteers.
This class is for anyone who is death-curious, feels called to support others at the end of life, is exploring the path of becoming a death doula, or simply wants to deepen their understanding of end-of-life care—personally or professionally.
Light lunch is provided - free will donations to Moments Hospice Foundation are welcome but not necessary.
