We are delighted to welcome as headliner on 02nd February 2026, publisher, organiser and poet, Mairi Murphy. Mairi has been with us before and we can be assured of excellent poetry. Mairi’s bio is below.

Mairi Murphy Bio
Mairi graduated from Glasgow University MLitt with distinction where she was awarded the Alistair Buchan Prize for poetry. Her poetry has been published in New Writing Scotland, various poetry magazines, including an online publication in New York.
Her first collection, ‘Observance’ was published by Clochoderick Press in 2018. She is the co-founder of Four-em Press, publishing Glasgow Women Poets in 2016.
She ran a series of Poetry Café Workshops for the inaugural Paisley Book Festival in 2020.
Readings and poetry exploring her Irish heritage with Donal McLaughlin and Charlie Gracie (PBF 2021) are to be published by Red Squirrel Press later this year. As part of PBF 2022
‘Daughters, Wives, Resilient Lives’ (Amazon 2022) presenteda collaboration with three other women poets drawing on the strength and wisdom of female working class women.
Mairi has been involved with Lapidus, promoting health and wellbeing through writing, currently working on a new collection for Seahorse Publications.
