An intoxicating blend of theatrical flair, soulful storytelling, and fiery musicianship, Dutch-born songstress Szara Fox is an internationally acclaimed performer whose distinctive style fuses the raw passion of Flamenco with the rich traditions of European Gypsy music. With a commanding stage presence, soaring vocals, and a driving guitar style, Szara delivers spellbinding tales of love, longing, and liberation — all with elemental sensuality and irresistible rhythm.
A trained actress as well as a seasoned musician, Szara has refined her dynamic performance style from years of touring across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, captivating audiences with a signature mix of original songs and reimagined traditional Gypsy folk tunes.
Joining her on stage is her longtime musical collaborator and soulmate, Andrew Darling, a master trumpet player whose emotive playing winds through each piece with fiery improvisation and melodic finesse. With over 35 years of professional experience, Andrew has performed alongside Australian music legends including Things of Stone and Wood, Dan Kelly, and Gareth Liddiard (The Drones).
Completing the trio is Nico Di Stefano, a world-class guitarist whose visceral energy and virtuosic touch make him a true magician of the electric guitar. His scintillating solos and dynamic presence elevate the trio’s sound into something truly transcendent.
In recent years, Szara has become a fixture on the festival circuit, lighting up stages at Newstead Live, Violet Town Music Festival, FRL, and Renaissance Festival. She recently opened for Things of Stone and Wood at Melbourne’s prestigious Bird’s Basement and continues to perform to packed venues across Europe and Australia.
