Embodied Yin, Myofascial Release & Gong Bath Sound Healing Meditation
An Afternoon of Deep Nourishment & Inner Connection
Join Lucy and Kate on Sunday, 07 September, 14:00–17:00 at The Hall at Marthall for a transformative three-hour journey into the heart of embodied healing. This immersive workshop blends Yin Yoga, self-myofascial release, somatic movement, and gong bath sound healing to support your body, mind, and spirit in profound rest, renewal, and reconnection.
With years of combined experience in yoga, somatics, and sound therapy, Lucy and Kate will lovingly guide you through a deeply restorative process that invites self-inquiry, emotional release, and nervous system recalibration.
What to Expect:
✨ Breathwork – Begin by anchoring into your breath to settle the nervous system, quiet the mind, and create spaciousness in both body and awareness.
✨ Self-Myofascial Release & Somatic Yin Yoga – This powerful combination offers a unique approach to physical and energetic healing.
Self-myofascial release uses simple tools (such as therapy balls or blocks) to stimulate the fascia—our body’s intricate web of connective tissue. This practice promotes circulation, improves mobility, releases chronic tension, and helps clear energetic stagnation.
Yin Yoga complements this by working with the deeper layers of the body—ligaments, joints, fascia, and meridians—through long-held, passive poses. When paired with somatic awareness, Yin Yoga becomes not just a stretch, but a meditative practice of listening, sensing, and softening.
Together, these practices bring the body into a state of deep surrender, improve lymphatic flow, support emotional release, and activate the body’s innate healing intelligence.
🌀 Why These Modalities Work So Deeply Together:
Combining myofascial release with Yin Yoga allows us to first dissolve physical resistance and then soften into deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue. This dual approach clears blockages and invites subtle shifts in the body and psyche. As you cultivate somatic awareness in each posture, you’ll learn to feel where tension resides and how to release it—enhancing both physical freedom and emotional resilience.
🌿 Holistic Benefits of Yin Yoga Include:
Nervous system regulation
Greater flexibility and joint health
Emotional release and stress reduction
Improved circulation of Qi (life-force energy) through the meridians
Support for introspection, mindfulness, and spiritual connection
🔔 Gong Bath Sound Healing Meditation – We’ll complete our journey with a soothing gong bath—a deeply relaxing immersion in healing sound. The vibrations of the gongs wash through the entire body, dissolving stress, resetting brainwave patterns, and rebalancing the nervous system. This meditative state can enhance sleep, reduce anxiety, and support energetic realignment on a cellular level.
This workshop is more than a practice—it’s a sacred pause, an opportunity to release what no longer serves, and reconnect with your inner essence. You’ll leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and recharged from the inside out.
