Yoga for Arthritis

Yoga for arthritis is a gentle form of movement that helps improve flexibility, reduce stiffness, and support joint health. Michelle was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis over 20 years ago and knows first-hand the benefits that movement not only does for us physically, but mentally as well.
If you suffer from arthritis and are looking for ways to stay active, this class is low impact, accessible for all ages and modified to meet the needs of individuals with arthritis and limited mobility. This class is a gentle approach to exercise that emphasizes mindful movement, breath awareness and joint care. Whether you are newly diagnosed, managing chronic symptoms or looking for a more mindful way to move, this class offers a safe and supportive space to move your body with modifications and options being offered. Michelle will be brining props to help facilitate modifications ot make this experience as supportive as possible for you!
After or before class, stay and sip — your first beer or cider(or non alcoholic option) is included in the $25 ticket price. We can't wait to get moving with you all!
**Although these will be gentle movements, it is encouraged to get clearance from your doctor or healthcare practitioner. **
