FIVE WEEK COURSE
Thursday 6.30pm - 7.30pm
This five week course focuses on the aspects of martial arts that mean the most to me personally, and in turn, offer participants the greatest return on investment.
Each class will have two main components:
1. Boxing (Box-Fit)
2. Self Protection (Defence)
BOX-FIT
The boxing drills are used for our warm up (injury prevention), aid in our general health and conditioning (cardiovascular fitness), along with developing coordination.
Most importantly, these boxing drills provide a platform to better understand human movement and biomechanics.
SELF PROTECTION
The second half of each class will cover a new self protection concept aimed at enhancing your personal safety.
These concepts will be explained, demonstrated and practiced in the form of awareness drills to help reinforce desired outcomes.
The warm up Box-Fit drills are perishable, they’re great for fitness and confidence, but it’s not a lifetime skill unless it’s practised religiously.
The self defence concepts are the opposite. An understating of these concepts will elevate your ability to defend yourself regardless of the time spent practicing.
This unique training methodology will not only help your self confidence, the concepts will also help in enhancing the number one attribute for self-defence, SELF-ESTEEM.
