Get ready to stomp, roar, and race through time!
The 6th Annual TyRUNnosaurus thunders back on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Tiguex Park near Old Town Albuquerque. Runners, families, and little hatchlings alike are invited to run like a raptor and stomp like a sauropod to the finish line in this dino-sized community favorite.
This fossil-fun event includes a 5K Run/Walk, a Family Fun Run, a Kids’ K Run, a Kids’ 1-Mile Run, and a Family 1-Mile Walk winding through historic Old Town Albuquerque and the Sawmill District.
This year, we’re adding even more prehistoric pizzazz:

🦕 Dino Dash – watch inflatable dinosaurs sprint, stumble, and roar their way to victory!

The TyRUNnosaurus is made possible thanks to our mighty herd of sponsors: RunFit, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, KRQE, Pepsi, Blue Bell, Natural Grocers, Prime Time Publishing, and New Mexico Kids Magazine.
All proceeds benefit the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation, advancing science education, research, and discovery across our state. While the Museum undergoes exciting renovations (reopening Spring 2026), your support ensures the dino spirit roars on!
