Thank you to everyone who reached out with Insurance recommendations, after 6 months of nothing, we finally got it handled, huge thanks to LZ, John and Bill for the efforts! Thankful to just get to run the event. The other part of good news is that we got the rest of the big oval seal coated, so tire wear has been reduced yet again.
That being said there will be some changes to make sure insurance will continue to cover the event.
-Still capped at 200 drivers so if you are on the fence, just buy a ticket.
-There will be a pit flush again every morning, and now at night to make sure no one without a wristband is in the pit area.
-Prices had to go up (but not by much), as the insurance I have to pay is about 4 times as much as I have paid in the past, to compensate, there will only be one price for the event this year.
-General spectators are no longer allowed in the pits or to camp, and will not be given wristbands. People that want to watch the event will have drastically reduced pricing on tickets, but will be confined to the grandstand area. GA passes are only 20 per day on pre order, or 50 for a 3 pack. These can be ordered at www.suikacircuit.com
-Drivers and teams, anyone coming with you, family, etc. must buy the 3 day crew passes. These passes will have access to the pit areas and camping.
-Media will be drastically reduced and capped this year. If you are a driver that is bringing a media person with them, please have your Media register, all must be approved. Niki Bobby is in charge of all media this year, so what he says goes. I'll get the link up ASAP.
-Media will also be confined to the media boxes, there will no longer be free access, if you are outside of a media box, your media pass will be pulled.
-There will be no 2 day passes at all this year, if you want to come to the event, please buy the 3 day pass.
-Spots along the power fence will have a reservation fee from now on. These are limited and will go extremely fast. If you are not reserved, I will make you pack up and move.
-I am no longer covered for the monday after. If we can prove this event works with no claims I can bring this back in the future.
The power spots will go live July 20th at 6pm on the dot, MST.
- Out of state roll in is Thursday, everyone else, gates open Friday at 8am. NO ROLL IN MON TUES WEDS
- No spectator parking inside the gate, you can camp with your drivers if you have a crew pass, but keep cars out.
- NO BURNOUTS IN PITS, these now come with a permanent ban.
- No open trailers in pits, these can be moved to the back side of the track as shown on the map.
-We will be constantly looking for wristbands, so if a staff member asks and you don't have one, please listen and go get one.
