New Beginnings: From Outcast to Prophet

Here is a truth; we die without connection. When we are born, we are totally dependent on our connection to some parental figure. As we grow and journey through life, this dependency on others
does not stop. We need other people, we need to connect to ourselves, to others and to the Divine. What happens when that connection is severed and we are left alone, isolated and forgotten? The answer is, our life force is depleted, and we wither away and die, first inside and then outside. Today we
hear a familiar story of faith, a woman who had been cut off from community for years, yet when she reached out, she experienced a New Beginning, and we can too.
