Facilitators:
Dr. Lesley Toser
Lesley has been teaching yoga since 1996 and completed Yogi Mehtab's Gong Certification program in 2017. She has experienced for herself and seen many others find that the deeply relaxed, trance-like-state one can achieve during a sound bath transforms the mind, body and soul.

Deva Khalsa
Deva is a lifelong spiritual truth & knowledge seeker and has been studying grief rituals the past year and a half with Francis Weller. She is no longer teaching Kundalini Yoga but does co-facilitate gong events and grief rituals. Deva began teaching yoga in 1992 in Vancouver, Canada. She moved to New Mexico 30 years ago. Her current day job is a licensed realtor.

Jesse Kalapa
As a second generation percussionist, Jesse Kalapa has been a life long explorer of the healing benefits of drumming, music and sound. He has played with kirtan groups and offered soundscape at ceremonies, in yoga studios and on retreats for over 20 years. He is currently supporting musically at the Albuquerque Center for Spirituality and offers coaching and inner process work through movement and sound.

Reviews of Deva
M Graham
Deva is an amazing Yoga Teacher. Her knowledge and passion resonates in her teaching. She has inspired many and is a shining light in our community. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Jessica R
Deva’s classes are deeply transformative. She has a gift for holding a safe space wherein one can fully journey and experience presence and release. I leave her classes feeling profoundly changed for the better, and while I experience benefits from all yoga that I do, with Deva as a guide it is not merely a class, but a full immersion in mind, body and spirit.

Greg B
Deva is a warm and wonderful yoga instructor! So knowledgeable about not just asana but also Ayurveda and other healing and health modalities. Each class has live gong, which has to be experienced.

David S
I recommend Deva Khalsa because I have watched the awesome hugeness of her heart serve others selflessly for nearly 20 years. She is magnificently dedicated to the wellbeing of her community, and her clients. She puts a song back into living.

Deborah W
Deva is an Amazing, wise and beautiful teacher who teaches how to lean into healthy living and provides gentle yet powerful guidance and instruction during her class. The class is easily accessible for both the novice and seasoned practitioner🙏The additional bonus is Deva’s gift of the gong.... an enchanting and relaxing musical sound bath! This class sets the stage for a successful day...and more!

Alex M
I have struggled with Fibromyalgia and Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years, it has been hard to find a Yoga class that is more adaptive for my needs. I almost gave up on it. Then I met Lesley. She is always asking what I need in the classes and if there are any modifications she can help with so that I can continue my yoga practice without feeling like I am unable to participate in the exercise.

James C
Best Yoga teacher ever! Lesley is very in tune to when people are struggling and need a little help. She is always checking on everyone in class to make sure they are getting what they need and not doing too much.

Jon
I love the breathing exercises Lesley teaches in her yoga classes. They really help to ground you and get started in class with a positive attitude. I love the deep relaxation at the end with the gong! I would definitely recommend her classes to all of my friends!

Mike B
I had a mystical experience during the sound bath. A moment of deep connection with everything in the universe. What a gift.
