FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC
As part of the Dorothy Godtland Lecture Series, the Board of Directors is pleased to present the program "An Evening of Music" with Wendy Larson and Tamara Schneider.
Wendy Larson started playing the fiddle at a very young age. One of nine children, her father taught each of them how to play. Growing up, Wendy played in her high school orchestra, the Austin, MN Symphony Orchestra, the family's band and various other bands along the way. She continues to play fiddle in different groups in the area.
Tamara Schneider started playing the accordion at the young age of 6 or 7 years old. At the age of 15, she fell in love with the guitar. She has played in trios, groups, bands and church. She continues to enjoy playing both instruments to this day.
Through a love of music, these two musicians met and have become friends. "We just play and do our thing".
Come enjoy a variety of music genres - bluegrass, 50s, waltzes, etc.
This program will be held on August 28, 2025 from 7-8pm and is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
