Candlemas

Join us on Monday, February 2nd at 6 PM as we celebrate Candlemas at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church.

Candlemas marks the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, an ancient tradition celebrating Christ as the light of the world.

During the service, candles will be blessed and lit as a symbol of Christ’s light and God’s love for all. You are warmly invited to bring your own candle—any kind—to be blessed. These candles may be taken home and lit whenever there is worry, fear, or a need for a little extra light and love.
