Trunk or Treat

Families from across the community are invited to put on their favorite costumes and join in the fun at the annual Trunk or Treat hosted on the grounds of First Congregational Church of Akron. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 2pm-4pm at 292 E. Market Street, Akron.

Children are encouraged to bring their treat bags and get ready for an afternoon filled with candy, creativity, and community spirit. Decorated trunks will be provided by First Congregational Church of Akron, First United Methodist Church of Akron, Wedgewood United Methodist Church, and Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Akron.

The event is free and open to the public, offering a safe and festive way for families to celebrate the Halloween season. In addition to candy and goodies, guests can enjoy cider and sweet treats while mingling with neighbors and friends. So, grab your costumes, gather your family, and head to First Congregational Church of Akron for an afternoon of seasonal fun.
