The Wheel of the Year with Shellie

The Wheel of the Year is an annual cycle of seasonal festivals observed by many neopagans, representing the belief that all things are cyclical. This cycle includes four ‘quarter days,’ corresponding to the equinoxes and solstices, and four ‘cross-quarter’ days which correspond to the midpoints of these and are inspired by Insular Celtic peoples. The Wheel of the Year was popularized during the mid-twentieth century in Britain. In this class, we will explore the origins and creation of the Wheel of the Year, each of the holidays included, and ways to adapt these holidays for individual practices. This class will be hybrid, with both in-person meeting at Artisan Coffee (662 Canton Rd) and online through Discord ( https://discord.gg/zCKf27XJHV ).
