Akron Through the Eyes of Fashion, 1825-1925

Celebrate Akron's bicentennial with a look at 200 years of historic apparel from local collections.

In honor of Akron's 2025 bicentennial celebration, this exhibit will feature original period clothing and accessories from:
Hower House Museum
Ohio Regimental Civil War Military Ball
Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens
Twilight Theatre
University of Akron Archives and Special Collections

Also featured is a traveling exhibit from the National First Ladies Library and Museum, celebrating America's upcoming 250th anniversary and showcasing images and videos of historic items from their collections.
