2025 Architecture Driving Tour

The Summit County Historical Society of Akron, OH and Progress Through Preservation invite you to join their agencies for a driving tour featuring the 2024 Architectural Heritage Award sites. The program begins at the Akron-Summit County Public Library meeting room downtown with donuts and cider. Alice Christie will give a PowerPoint presentation of the winning sites with exquisite photographs and great stories that shouldn't be missed.

Time will not allow visitors to go in all the sites or visit all of them this day, but details and addresses will be provided for future adventures on your own. We are thrilled that the Taylor House on Fir Hill is at a point in construction that it will be open for this event.

All attendees will receive driving directions to the sites on the tour. At Crown Point, the end location, pie and coffee will be served for a final sweet treat.
