Goodyear Towpath Trek

Explore the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and all its Autumn wonder when you participate in the Goodyear Towpath Trek, September 1 through November 30! Individuals and families are invited to hike (or bike) four sections of the Towpath Trail and earn a commemorative pin in collaboration with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to celebrate your success!

2025 Towpath Treks:
- Red Lock to Boston Mill Visitor Center (3.8 mi round trip)
- Beech Street to Lock 3 + Lock 3 Loop (2.5 mi round trip)
- Crystal Springs to Bridgeport Quarry (3.3 mi round trip)
- Fort Laurens State Memorial to Canal Lands Park (5.8 mi round trip)

Participation in the Goodyear Towpath Trek, a program of the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition, is free! Pins can be redeemed once you complete all four treks starting October 1 at the Richard Howe House (47 West Exchange Street) in Akron, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pins can be mailed to you for a $5.00 shipping fee per package.
