The Self Defense Academy draws on over 42 years of martial arts experience and combines principles from Judo, Ju Jitsu, Aikido, Ninjutsu, Krav Maga, Kyusho Jitsu, Kapap and Russian Sistema.
There are no class fees, as the Academy is not charged for use of the room at Club Whitsunday and the best way to support this program is by becoming a member at Club Whitsunday, which is $5 per year.
The Academy is built on passion for martial arts and a commitment to community service. The goal is to pass on knowledge, build confidence and help young people develop both physical and mental readiness.
Training also includes:
• Qi Gong breathing techniques for high pressure situations
• Kuji In for calm and focus
• Meditation practices to build awareness and self control
