Apply in person for support in giving Christmas gifts to children in Aiken County that would not otherwise receive a gift. Volunteers will be available to help complete the application and verify documentation in the sanctuary, closest to Whiskey Rd.
Parents/Guardians must apply in person to be considered for support. Applications are not guaranteed to receive support until confirmation is sent via mail in November.
Parents and guardians are required to arrive in person and present their official government identification, their children's birth certificates OR Social Security cards, and a completed paper application on one of the two offered Application Days to a volunteer. If you have an impassable conflict, please contact us before the last application day for an opportunity to coordinate an alternative date.
Secret Santa is a mission of South Aiken Presbyterian Church in operation since 1987 that provides presents to Aiken County children in need that would not otherwise have the opportunity to open gifts on Christmas day. Supported children may request 3 items, and will receive at least 3 wrapped gifts to open at a total maximum cost of $75. Stocking Stuffers are also provided with small toiletry items, school supplies, and other supports as supplies are available.
Due to the late timing of Thanksgiving and our large increase in family applications last year, we have moved the Application Days a week ahead of our usual schedule. Now, instead of having one application day in October and one in November, we will only have two application days held in the last 2 weeks of October.
