Aiken’s Top Dog is a community fundraising competition hosted by the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, and it’s all about celebrating the pups we love while raising money for the pets still waiting for homes.

The competition kicks off with an online fundraiser:
📸 Participants create a fun profile for their dog
💸 Every $1 donated = 1 vote
📲 Share your dog’s page to rally votes from friends, family, and fellow dog lovers

The top 15 fundraisers will advance to the live finale this fall at Good Girl Brewing Co., where they’ll compete in-person for the ultimate title of Aiken’s Top Dog.

What’s at stake?
🥇 1st Place – $500 gift card, pet photography session, custom trophy, 1-year SPCA dog park membership, AND your dog’s name featured on the menu at Good Girl Brewing
🥈 2nd & 3rd Place – Free pet photography session, 1-year SPCA dog park membership, gift cards, and plenty of bragging rights

Whether you’re entering your dog or just want to come out and cheer them on, this is one event you won’t want to miss. Every vote raises funds to help homeless animals in our care — and every dog gets a moment in the spotlight.
