UCY Master in Data Science: Program Presentation for Students

Get to know the University of Cyprus' MSc in Data Science and learn about our students' work for leading companies in Greece and Cyprus

The UCY Master in Data Science program ( https://datascience.cy) is hosting an information session for undergraduate students interested in data science on Wednesday, 28 January, from 11:30 to 12:30, at LRC012 (UCY Library).

The event will begin with a brief introduction to the program by the Program Directors. This will be followed by presentations from two groups of graduating students, who will showcase the outcomes of their Capstone Projects conducted in collaboration with Jinius and PwC. These projects highlight how data science methods are applied to practical, industry-driven problems.

In addition, RetailZoom, a Cypriot data analytics company, will present its work and discuss the importance of data science in today’s industry, as well as career opportunities available to graduates of the program.

The session will conclude with an informal discussion over pizza and refreshments, offering attendees the opportunity to interact with our students and Program Directors and ask questions about the program, projects, and career paths.
