Braiding Raw Hide Horse Gear - Exploring Interest

We are having a one session exploratory meeting to determine if there is any interest in learning to braid rawhide horse gear.
The class will be offered by Ron Dean who has 50 years of braiding experience. Following that meeting, and provided there is some interest in braiding, a formal class will be established and offered for those who want to pursue this activity. This class would last as long as students saw the need for additional instruction. While braiding rawhide will be the main focus of the class, sometime can be spent showing how to braid horsehair and twist horsehair ropes. This initial class will show examples of braided rawhide tack, horsehair braiding, and twisted horsehair ropes. Also, a list of equipment needed will be shown and approximate costs of getting started.
