Where are all my school aged kids that have a dream and entrepreneurial drive?? ❤️ THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!!! I was raised surrounded by entrepreneurs so I know personally how important it is to encourage that spark at a young age. I would never be where I am today if I wasn't raised with that.
Here are some things to know...
👉 This is for youth in grades 1 through 12 - parents/adults should ONLY be present for guidance and assistance. PLEASE let the kiddos take the reins on this one. It's a chance to learn!!
👉 This is NOT just for Adrian youth. Any school aged youth who wants to participate in this is welcome from any school district or home school as long as you are 1st through 12th grade as of the start of the current school year.
👉 Scan the QR code to sign up. You will get a single table with two chairs so bring what you need to set up and present your spot!
👉 this will take place Feb 28 from 9am-4pm. Setup will be either that morning or the night before if you need more time. Setup times will be announced by Feb 18th once we have a better idea of how many participants.
👉 We are also looking for seasoned business owners/entrepreneurs to volunteer their time to this event to advise and mentor these young business owners. Whether it be for writing business plans, tax questions, budgets, marketing, etc. so please reach out if you want to be a part of this!
👉 There will be a chance for the youth to pitch their business plan to other business owners for advice, mentoring, and even scholarship possibilities
👉 We have teamed up with the Adrian Optimist Club who is helping to keep the booth fees minimal making this ABOUT THE YOUTH. This is not a profitable event. Any extra funds donated or given will be poured back into these young entrepreneurs in the form of scholarships.
👉 Please share this because we will also need the surrounding communities to come out on Feb 28th to shop and offer encouragement!!
👉 This is the first time of organizing this event and will have a huge learning curve. If it goes well, we are hoping to make this an annual event!
