The Art of Bonsai: Getting Ready for Winter

Join Peter for the last class of the season and learn how to cut, prune, and get your bonsai ready for winter!

To prepare a bonsai for winter cutting and pruning, you must first understand the species' needs, as techniques vary greatly between deciduous, coniferous, and tropical trees. A tree's dormancy period, which begins in late autumn and lasts until early spring, is the best time for structural pruning of temperate-climate species.

For a more in-depth experience, bring in a small young tree of your own.

Payment of $12 is due and paid to Peter at the beginning of the workshop
